About Me

Jennifer Smeddy

With over 30 years of expertise in the field of childhood education. Jennifer Smeddy, M.Ed. in Education Administration from Temple University, has worked with children of all ages, from infants to high schoolers. She is the former childcare director of one of the largest childcare organizations in the United States and has served as a corporate client services liaison for childcare centers in the World Bank, the Pentagon, the National Security Agency (NSA), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

She founded the training program CDAClass org over 18 years ago to train passionate educators to earn their Child Development Associate Certifications and begin their journey in the field of early childhood. She resides between her homes in New York City and New Jersey and spends her time practicing yoga, riding her bike, and being a single mother to her son.
